Senior Technologist SME

About the role

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Senior Technologist SME in Chantilly, VA. Qualified candidates must be U.S. citizens with a TS/SCI clearance and Full Scope Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Provide Subject Matter Expertise in ways to improve and incorporate new technologies, resolve complex problems, and enhance processes.
• Provide deep technical and business expertise in microelectronics, high performance/quantum computing, and wireless/optical communication.
• Additional responsibilities may be added upon hire.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in microelectronics, high performance/quantum computing, or wireless/optical communication.
• Strong technical leadership skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics.
• TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.

Qualifications (Desired)

• 10+ years of experience as a technical SME.
• Prior experience running a business and providing high-end SETA support to complex government missions.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000/year; base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
