Senior Technician

About the role

We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Technician to join our Pittsburgh-based team supporting the build, testing, and validation of advanced electromechanical systems — primarily focused on autonomous and electric vehicle platforms. This is a hands-on, senior-level technician role for someone with deep electrical and mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in complex wire harness fabrication, with the proven ability to execute builds from a Bill of Materials (BOM) and schematics.
• Support prototype builds, retrofits, and system integrations for advanced vehicle programs.
• Assemble, diagnose, and repair electromechanical systems.
• Able to perform at a high level in a rapid prototype research and development environment.
• Create concise documentation of work being performed.
• Maintain high safety and quality standards across all work performed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experienced with harness fabrication and assembly
• Knowledge of electromechanical systems—CAN, Ethernet, low-voltage, sensors, and actuators
• Expected to work efficiently and collaboratively within a close knit team environment
• Skilled in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of electromechanical issues
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of technical tasks
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Bonus Skills

• IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification or equivalent industry-standard harness fabrication certification
• Prior experience in a rapid prototyping environment
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with CAD or harness design software such as EB-CAD or SolidWorks Electrical
• Familiarity with flashing ECUs and basic diagnostics using UDS or OBD tools
• Knowledge of vehicle safety systems and industry quality standards

Location and Schedule

This role is based in our Pittsburgh office and requires in-office days each week.

Pay

Salary Range: $84,000 USD - $109,500 USD
