Senior Technical Specialist - Client Site NEBS Testing

About the role

Intertek is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist – Client Site NEBS Testing to support NEBS and SmartGrid testing at a client site in San Jose, California. The role involves reviewing test plans, witnessing testing, reviewing data, writing reports, and communicating project information between Intertek‑Lexington and the client.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with client performing testing at their facility.
• Review client test plans for full scope and applicability of testing.
• Witness NEBS and SmartGrid testing.
• Review test data gathered by client during testing.
• Write test reports for testing performed at client site.
• Communicate all necessary project information between Intertek‑Lexington and the client.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in the sciences, OR the equivalent in terms of education / experience / training.
• A valid driver's license and reliable driving record.
• Ability to travel as business needs dictate up to 25%.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Awareness of and adherence to safety practices and policies to ensure personal and others’ safety.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines.
• Detail‑oriented with ability to prioritize, organize workload, and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal, written, and presentation formats.
• Possess the fundamental technical and administrative skills required to perform the job duties.
• Customer‑focused and quality‑driven.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.

Pay

The base wage or salary range for this position is $125,000 – $132,0
