Senior Technical Project Manager (Miami Lakes)

This is a fully on-site position based in Miami, Florida. Candidates must currently reside in the Miami area.

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a strong Technical Business Analyst background to support a banking and payments modernization program. This role combines delivery leadership with hands-on requirements gathering, process documentation, and close collaboration with engineering teams to drive successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, and delivery across cross-functional teams
• Manage scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and maintain delivery visibility through project tracking tools
• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
• Partner with engineering teams to define system interactions, APIs, and payment workflows
• Ensure alignment between requirements, technical solutions, and delivered outcomes

Requirements

• 6+ years of combined Project Management and Business Analysis experience in software delivery environments
• Strong experience in banking and payments, including payments processing and modernization initiatives
• Ability to work effectively with engineering teams and understand cloud-based, API-driven, and event-driven architectures
• Proven experience gathering requirements and producing user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience leveraging AI tools for documentation, analysis, and requirements definition

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of ISO 20022, Fedwire, or other payment industry standards
• Experience with Lucid chart, Miro, draw.io, BPMN, or similar modeling tools
• Background in Software Engineering or QA
• Familiarity with AI concepts such as MCP, RAG, and agentic systems
