Senior Technical Project Manager

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid 3 days a week)

Pay Rate: $70-$75 per hour on a W2 basis. No sponsorship available or C2C help in any form.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure and cloud initiatives across enterprise environments. This role will coordinate cross-functional teams across Infrastructure, Architecture, DevOps, Cybersecurity, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple infrastructure and cloud projects from planning through implementation.
• Manage initiatives involving cloud migrations, data center/infrastructure modernization, backup and disaster recovery, networking, servers, virtualization, storage, and enterprise software migrations.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, scope changes, and executive status reporting.
• Drive alignment and execution across technical teams without direct authority.
• Support internal controls, audits, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT Project Management experience, including 5+ years managing infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience with cloud migrations, backup/disaster recovery, servers, networking, virtualization, and storage.
• Experience with lift-and-shift migrations, database upgrades, and application/software migrations to cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Infrastructure Project Lifecycles.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional technical teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication, organization, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Agile experience and proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hybrid on-prem/cloud environments.
• PMP certification.
• Exposure to IAM, infrastructure security, ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with ITIL, DevOps, and CI/CD environments.
