We’re seeking a Senior Program/Project Manager to lead high-impact enterprise transformation initiatives within the life insurance/financial services space. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of complex program/project leadership, strong experience with large-scale system implementations, conversions or modernization efforts, and the ability to drive alignment across business, technology, executive stakeholders and external partners. The ideal candidate brings strong project and program leadership experience, a deep understanding of life insurance, annuities, and financial services, and the ability to confidently lead large initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead high‑impact enterprise transformation initiatives within the life insurance/financial services space.
• Lead high‑visibility transformation initiatives that impact business operations, technology, and customer experience.
• Bring structure to complexity, align diverse stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and keep large‑scale initiatives moving forward.
• Drive alignment across business, technology, executive stakeholders, and external partners.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
• Work across waterfall, iterative, and agile delivery methodologies.
• Influence stakeholders and drive decisions without direct authority.
• Manage vendor and external partner relationships.
• Identify roadblocks, manage dependencies, and proactively drive solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive project, program, transformation, or related leadership experience.
• Proven success leading large‑scale enterprise programs and complex technology initiatives.
• Experience with system implementations, conversions, modernization, or transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of the life insurance, annuities, and financial services industries.
• Experience leading initiatives throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
• Experience working across waterfall, iterative, and agile delivery methodologies.
• Strong executive‑level communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive decisions without direct authority.
• Strong vendor and external partner management experience.
• Exceptional organization, planning, risk management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to identify roadblocks, manage dependencies, and proactively drive solutions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• PMP Certification REQUIRED.
• 8+ years of project/program/transformation leadership experience.
• Demonstrated success managing complex, enterprise‑level initiatives.
• Strong experience within life insurance, annuities, financial services, or a closely related industry.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and enterprise technology delivery.
