Senior Technical Program Manager, Release & Integration

About the role

The Motional Technical Program Management team is seeking a talented TPM to support our release pipeline. This role requires strong collaboration and management across our autonomy integration, software, hardware, operations, and testing teams. We are currently seeking an individual who has strong skills in cross-functional work, quick decision making, and execution of release activities and planning to ensure that we continuously iterate and improve. Responsibilities

• Drive alignment across stakeholder teams to track planned software and hardware releases.
• Actively manage execution of release activities, tracking progress against key release metrics, such as deployment cadence, release stability, or defect leakage rates and removing blockers and inefficiencies as required.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to configure and improve our targeted configurations end-to-end.
• Establish and maintain comprehensive release calendars, notes, and documentation to ensure transparent communication across engineering and executive stakeholders, working through technical details while conducting performance reviews and retrospectives.
• Set priorities and coordinate between multiple engineering and operations teams and external stakeholders to support our overall release strategy and deconflict activities and resources.
• Work closely with engineering leadership to help define and track key organizational objectives.
• Proactively identify, manage, and report on risks and issues.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with Continuous Integration and automated SW testing.
• Demonstrated experience in managing FW, SW, and HW configurations.
• Minimum of 5 years experience working with complex systems, including but not limited to, autonomous vehicles,
