About the role
As a Senior Technical Program Manager within the Manufacturing Test & Diagnostics team at Foster City, CA, you will lead complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all test and diagnostic systems meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements.Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee the integration of new test and diagnostic systems into existing production processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as FDA guidelines and ISO 13485.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a technical program management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with Six Sigma or other quality improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical device testing and regulatory processes is beneficial.
Skills
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Project and Excel.
- Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems is advantageous.
