About the role
The NVIDIA GPU Software team is seeking a Technical Program Manager to contribute to the development of foundational kernel components, drivers, and firmware for NVIDIA chipsets. This position offers opportunities to align the team's work with the broader product roadmap, manage dependencies, and drive improvements in planning and processes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team and cross-functional peers to build, represent, and execute detailed plans for the team's work.
- Work on aligning NVIDIA's chipset and product roadmap with the software team capacity roadmap and help balance global priorities.
- Keep the team on track by coordinating dependencies across functional areas and identifying planning gaps.
- Empower to make prioritization decisions and represent the team to other groups.
- Partner closely with hardware, release planning, and customers to provide a comprehensive view of software at NVIDIA.
- Propose and develop new methods to handle projects and unify planning systems.
- Define and track metrics to improve execution efficiency.
Requirements
- 12+ overall years of program management experience in delivering software products.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or similar field or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record of balancing short-term delivery towards critical timelines alongside thoughtful long-term steps towards improving planning, processes, and team capabilities.
Qualifications
- Past experience as a software developer.
- Background in graphics, machine learning, or accelerated computing.
- Experience with software productivity tools and process automation.
