Responsibilities
- Drive execution of large, cross-team engineering initiatives spanning multiple sub-teams.
- Cook up engineering workstreams and ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
- Prioritize requirements from our business partners to the engineering team.
- Partner with engineering leads to coordinate planning across teams.
- Translate roadmap goals into structured execution plans with clear sequencing.
- Prioritize initiatives based on technical dependencies, partner priorities, team capacity, and organizational goals.
- Build and maintain dependency maps across teams, services, and infrastructure components.
- Identify execution risks early and coordinate mitigation strategies.
- Manage program execution to ensure milestones reflect realistic engineering sequencing and delivery timelines.
- Provide clear written and verbal updates on execution status, risks, and key decisions.
- Employ Agentic AI productivity tools to drive key processes.
- Anticipate bottlenecks and sequencing conflicts before they impact delivery.
- Continuously identify opportunities to remove friction from the development and deployment pipeline, enabling engineering teams to ship faster while maintaining reliability.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in technical program management or complex project leadership.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated success coordinating large cross-team technical initiatives.
- Strong ability to manage multiple complex dependencies simultaneously.
- Familiarity with engineering workflows, system design discussions, and technical delivery processes.
- Experience using Linear, Notion, Confluence, or similar engineering tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear execution plans, document key decisions, and provide structured updates on progress, risks, and dependencies.
