About the role

Entra Edge & Quality Services and Programs seeks a Senior Technical Program Management Manager to help teams tackle complex problems. You will create and sustain effective partnerships across the business, running programs that intersect key corporate functions like Finance. Programs you own will improve engineering processes and drive cost efficiencies, making it more efficient to operate hyperscale infrastructure running on millions of cloud instances globally. This role requires expertise in business and program management, stakeholder management, and cloud infrastructure for mission-critical services.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic programs that improve engineering processes and cost/operational efficiency across hyperscale infrastructure.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness and efficiency of cost-efficiency initiatives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, engineering, and product management, to align strategies and objectives.
  • Represent the team in executive forums and cross-organizational collaborations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • This position requires passing the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • Experience working in a role where a team/organization conceived, built, operated, and evolved cloud services—including mission-critical services with challenging availability targets or services at significant scale (e.g., hundreds of millions of users, millions of API calls per second).
  • Technical acumen and ability to translate needs into clear requirements.
  • Experience in business and operational roles managing programs involving complex budgeting, revenue projection, or margin analysis.
  • Ability to lead and drive consensus across teams, leadership, and organizational boundaries to deliver division-wide outcomes.
  • Experience working in Identity and/or Security technology domains.

Pay

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. A different range applies to specific work locations, including the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, where the base pay range is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
