Senior Technical Program Manager
About the role
Navii is hiring on behalf of Panopto, the market leader in video knowledge management for learning. Panopto is in active transformation—accelerating AI-driven delivery, modernizing how engineering works, and pushing a roadmap that matters. This role is the execution engine that turns strategy into shipped software, with direct partnership to the CTO. If you like being the person who makes delivery real (not just coordinated), you'll feel at home here.
The work
- Run the delivery operating system: establish delivery cadence, milestone definitions, dependency tracking, and a blocker workflow—and make it stick across active engineering workstreams.
- Own execution accountability: chase down blockers, drive resolution, and ensure commitments don't slip quietly—especially when teams are moving fast and priorities shift.
- Lead AI-DLC adoption across the org: build the rollout and enablement plan (training/onboarding, reference workflows, success criteria), track adoption with clear weekly updates, and drive continuous improvement based on what engineers learn.
- Create executive-ready clarity: translate raw inputs into crisp, decision-oriented updates for the CTO and senior engineering leadership—what shipped, what's at risk, and what needs a call.
- Be the accountability layer with vendors: manage third-party development and infrastructure partners against delivery commitments, with escalation paths that keep momentum.
What you'll need
- You've led delivery programs where teams didn't report to you—creating buy-in through operating cadence, clear accountability, and escalation when decisions are needed.
- You're a strong written communicator who can turn messy inputs into executive-ready updates without relying on a template.
- You have cross-functional credibility across engineering and product (and can work effectively with GTM/CS stakeholders when dependencies touch customer outcomes).
- You have enough technical literacy to hold your own in engineering conversations and make smart tradeoffs—without needing to be the person writing the code.
- You've done meaningful technical program management or delivery management in a software company environment.
Even better if
- You've operated in a high-governance environment where process and rigor matter.
- You've supported engineering transformation work—especially AI-DLC tooling rollouts or modernization programs.
- You've managed third-party development or infrastructure vendors against delivery commitments.
Who thrives here
- You're at your best when you're accountable for outcomes, not when you're just "in the loop"—you drive clarity and decisions forward.
- You can influence without authority: you build trust through follow-through, crisp communication, and a delivery rhythm people rely on.
- You're comfortable being the person who makes the operating system real—when there isn't a playbook yet, you create one and iterate fast.
- You prefer direct escalation and clean alignment over vague consensus.
The team
You'll report directly to the CTO and work closely with senior engineering leadership as Panopto modernizes how it builds. The engineering organization is moving into a pod-based model with multiple parallel workstreams, so your job is to keep execution coherent without slowing teams down. Expect a lot of "make it work" energy—new cadence, new workflows, and real adoption pressure.

Location and work authorization
This is a remote-first role. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
Non-traditional backgrounds
If you've built and scaled delivery systems in any environment—startup or enterprise, modernization or greenfield—you'll likely recognize the problem immediately. We care more about how you drive outcomes than what your title was.
