Senior Technical Program Manager
About the role
AVEVA’s Chief Technologist Organization is hiring an experienced technical program manager to help us track and coordinate our work investigating and incubating emerging technologies. Reporting to the VP, Strategic Programs & Operations, you'll work closely with technical leaders across the organization to develop and define program plans for our technical initiatives, making sure they align to our broader strategy and priorities, have well-defined objectives that further our technical understanding in key areas, and include concrete milestones and deliverables. You'll develop and implement tracking and reporting processes so leadership always has a clear, up-to-date view of progress. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape how our growing organization structures its programming in a way that allows us to deliver innovative and advanced industrial technology. The ideal candidate has a deep technical grounding that allows them to quickly develop understanding of emerging technical areas (e.g. AI, IoT, XR/VR, etc), strong multi-level communication and organization skills, and the ability to synthesize technical details into coherent programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop a flexible but repeatable approach to defining technical program plans that can be applied across the CT organization
- Help technical leaders connect their plans to the org's broader priorities and strategy, flagging gaps or misalignment
- Work with senior technical leaders within the CT Organization to translate requirements from other parts of AVEVA and customers into tangible programs that align to the CT Org’s broader strategy
