About the role

Amazon Music is an immersive audio entertainment service that deepens connections between fans, artists, and creators. It offers experiences that serve all listeners with different tiers of service: Prime members get access to all the music in shuffle mode, and top ad-free podcasts; customers can upgrade to Amazon Music Unlimited for unlimited, on-demand access to 100 million songs, ad-free and exclusive podcasts and a rich and diverse catalog of audiobooks; and anyone can listen for free by downloading the Amazon Music app or via Alexa-enabled devices.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead cross-organizational initiatives across Amazon Music tiers and content types, including Free, Prime, and Unlimited tiers, as well as spoken word experiences like Podcasts and Audiobooks.
  • Work across Amazon Music and external organizations to launch large-scale and high-impact product improvements for our customer base.
  • Influence internal and external cross-functional stakeholders, design technical solutions, and lead end-to-end execution of these customer-facing projects.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in customer experience to drive retention and growth for Amazon Music overall.
  • Own the podcast and audiobooks customer experiences across all tiers.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
  • Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
