About the role
As the Senior Technical Product Manager for Monitoring & Performance at PrizePicks, you will lead initiatives that ensure the platform remains fast, observable, and resilient at scale. Your responsibilities include partnering with engineering and infrastructure teams to identify bottlenecks and opportunities, translating engineering needs into clear requirements, and prioritizing initiatives based on impact and feasibility.
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to find bottlenecks, gaps, and opportunities across the internal development lifecycle.
- Own the full product lifecycle for performance and monitoring initiatives, from discovery through delivery and iteration.
- Translate engineering needs into clear requirements and user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize initiatives by impact, urgency, and feasibility to ship the highest-value work first.
- Define success metrics and use data to measure impact, surface insights, and inform trade-offs.
- Communicate goals, progress, and decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years in product management or a closely related discipline.
- 3+ years working on platform, developer experience, and/or infrastructure products.
- Comfort with scrum/agile ceremonies and processes.
- A track record of thriving in high-growth or startup environments.
- The ability to learn quickly and ask the right questions about new technical and domain concepts.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Industry experience in fintech and/or gaming.
- Hands-on background as a product, infrastructure, or site reliability engineer.
- Familiarity with modern observability and monitoring tooling, SLOs/SLIs, and incident management practices.
