The Position This position is a member of the Sales/Marketing Department. The Customer Service Representative 3 will report directly to the RPG Team Leader and is responsible for assisting customers and Replacement Parts Group parts sales with both external and internal sales. Job Description Primary Responsibilities Interface with customers via phone, fax, mail, e-mail and internet. To place and input quotes (Internal sales)Answer all customer inquiries using available information and resourcesQuote items as requestedQuote follow-upNotify customers of delivery or pricing discrepanciesAssist customers with specific needs regarding order placement and/or follow upDetermines part number and/or components requiredInput ordersReview order status changes with customerExpedite orders as requested by customerMaintain Open Order Report on a weekly basisAssist Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Production Control, TSS and Sales as requiredProvide accurate data as requested by various departments regarding customer request and quotesProvide/maintain sales figuresMaintain system pricing structuresAs required, review pricing structures and identify problem areas to appropriate departmentAdjust pricing as required with approval of immediate supervisorMaintain customer databaseMaintain customer information database as required for customer serviceMaintain order and quote files along with customer correspondenceMaintain files in neat and orderly mannerAssist in creating Aftermarket parts brochures and Maintenance tips for our Constant Contact email campaignsPerform Customer Visits for External SalesStrategically seek opportunities to visit customersCreate and maintain an efficient customer visit scheduleMeet with customer purchasing departments to discuss replacement parts orders/blanket ordersAssist with Inventory ManagementSafety stock plansObsolete inventory plans Job Requirements Education High School Diploma or GED equivalentSix to eight years’ experience in job related position preferredAssociate’s Degree with four years of job related experienceBachelor’s Degree with two years of job related experience Skills & Relevant Work Experience Proficient oral and written communication skillsStrong sales experience/skillsCapital machinery/equipment knowledgeAbility to manage multiple tasks throughout the dayAbility to deal with all types of customers and situationsMS Suite expertise (with excel)Expert technical knowledge of parts and machinery Travel Requirements: Up to 30% EOE M/F/D/V
