Senior Technical Lead

We’re looking for a Data Modeler to design, implement, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support our enterprise data strategies. This role ensures data integrity, scalability, and alignment with business objectives across multiple platforms (RDBMS, NoSQL, data lakes).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise systems.
• Understand requirements and plan to design efficient data models that fit client expectations.
• Validate and reconcile models to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and architects to translate requirements into data structures.
• Design and govern enterprise-wide conceptual, logical, and physical data models supporting complex, large-scale data ecosystems.
• Partner with stakeholders to align data architecture with long-term business objectives, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
• Architect highly optimized OLAP (star/snowflake schemas) and OLTP models for data warehouses, data lakes, and normalization.
• Collaborate with Data Governance teams to implement data stewardship, master data management (MDM), and data mapping/lineage.
• Design non-relational data models (e.g., Graph databases, JSON structures) to support unstructured and semi-structured data.
• Analyze physical data models and collaborate with ETL/ELT/Program developers to optimize query performance, indexing, and materialized views.
• Create and enforce database development standards and best practices.
• Prepare DB design documents, DDL scripts, and maintain metadata repositories.
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Support ETL processes, data governance, and security compliance.
• Provide training and consultation to teams on data modeling principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in SQL/NoSQL and relational/dimensional modeling.
• Hands-on experience with data architecture, performance tuning, and sandbox POCs.
• Familiarity with data visualization, analytics, and machine learning tools.
• Proficiency in data modeling tools and content management systems.
• Knowledge of ETL frameworks, data governance, and compliance standards.
• Product implementation experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in business process modeling and documentation tools.

Pay

Salary range $74,500 to $150,000.
