Senior Technical Designer, Federal
Job Responsibilities
- Lead designs and specify project appropriate architectural requirements.
- Lead projects as they move from concept and schematics through design development and documentation.
- Investigate, evaluate and recommend design solutions.
- Responsible for finished plans, specifications, or approval of materials and construction.
- Conduct site investigations and observations.
- Attend/Lead internal and external project meetings.
- May supervise or lead a team of architects and coordinate the work of other professionals who assist in specific assignments.
Requirements
- Required Education & Experience: Bachelor’s in Architecture from an accredited college or university. 8+ years of experience.
- PREFERRED Education & Experience: Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited college or university.
- Experience using Newforma, Deltek Vision, SketchUp and InDesign a plus.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications.
- Independently performs assignments with instructions as to the general results expected.
- Understands the client’s decision-making processes and develops relationships internally and externally.
- Proficiency with REVIT.
- Excellent Communication and presentation skills, detailing ability, strong code knowledge and planning experience.
- Detailed understanding of various regulatory building codes.
Pay
Salary range for this position varies between $85,000 – $125,000, depending upon applicable experience.
