Senior Technical Consultant - Data & Analytics

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Technical Consultant - Data & Analytics to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will focus on designing and delivering modern data solutions that help clients turn complex information into reliable, actionable insights. You will partner closely with client stakeholders and scrum teams to build scalable architectures, streamline data movement, and improve access to trusted data across enterprise environments. The position combines hands-on engineering with consulting, requiring both technical depth and strong client-facing communication. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operationalize, secure, and monitor data processing systems
• Create automated pipelines for structured and unstructured data ingestion
• Implement custom applications using tools like Kinesis and Lambda for streaming use cases
• Engineer and support SQL and NoSQL data structures
• Maintain ELT processes for data lakes and cloud storage environments
• Engineer APIs for data retrieval to enterprise applications
• Collaborate with scrum team members to estimate and deliver work

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional technical experience
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in data architecture and data modeling
• 4+ years of experience building scalable data solutions with Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, and Snowflake
• 4+ years of programming experience in Python
• 2+ years of experience in cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure)
• Strong client-facing communication and facilitation skills

Pay

$160,000 – $200,000 annually
