Senior Technical Business Analyst Java React Applications

Job Description

This position will be focused on application development projects using JAVA, PrimeReact on a Kubernetes platform. Candidates must reside in the State of Wisconsin or relocate at their own expense within 30-60 days of hire. Candidate works remotely but may be called into the office at any time for special business meetings or at the request of their supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate requirement-gathering workshops, interviews, and storyboarding sessions to identify business objectives, functionality gaps and business process
  • Provide system analysis to identify integrations and assess impact to existing process and functions across teams
  • Aid the project manager with creating a work breakdown structure from requirements, entering and managing tasks in Jira, and note taking during meetings
  • Act as the main communication channel linking operational teams, subject matter experts, and development teams
  • Translate business requirements into User Acceptance Testing (UAT) criteria, execute test plans, and validate system fixes
  • Cook up the resolution of UAT/testing feedback with developers and incorporate ADA compliance into the UAT/QA process
  • Oversee end-to-end SDLC from system specification prep to final deployment and end-user training
  • Lead software demonstrations or training sessions, draft user-facing documentation and knowledge articles, create how-to videos, and assist with customer support (policy/process/how-to questions)
  • Own and refine the product backlog. Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and mapping for Java backend services and React frontend components
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on system architecture, API integrations, and database design so that stakeholders understand application capabilities

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in enterprise Java/React ecosystems (12 yrs)
  • Software development lifecycle (SDLC), APIs, microservices, and modern UI/UX principles (1 yrs)
  • Exceptional capability in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like Jira or Confluence (1 yrs)
  • ADA compliance experience (1 yrs)
