Senior Technical Architect, Data 360

The Data Cloud Senior Technical Architect in Specialized Delivery is a demonstrated thought leader in the technical and functional application of Data 360 (formerly Data Cloud) with cross-industry experience. This role is ideal for a seasoned data-focused architect who understands the Salesforce platform and has proven success in helping customers unlock data and insights.
About the role
This role is in CSG Professional Services and is part of the Emerging Specialized Delivery team. Senior Technical Architects deliver best-in-class complex technical solutions to meet customer business and technical requirements, focusing on Data 360, scripting, data management, and integrations. They lead the evaluation of options, present and educate customers/partners, and proactively manage risk areas. This role also serves as a growth multiplier for Data 360 talent in Professional Services, supporting knowledge sharing, reusable assets, and talent development.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Data 360, internally and with customers.
- Act as a strategic advisor to unlock data from customers' enterprise systems.
- Help customers exceed goals and metrics while providing insights on Data 360 best practices.
- Work independently and be a self-starter.
- Deliver high client satisfaction (CSAT) scores by ensuring value is realized through each engagement.
- Manage multiple strategic clients simultaneously to meet or exceed utilization targets.
- Become a trusted advisor to customers and the Data 360 community, building a reputation for excellence.
- Collaborate with the Go-to-Market team to drive continued growth of services and expansion within assigned accounts.
- Maintain expertise on the evolving product roadmap and broader data platform landscape through continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Relevant Salesforce Data 360 experience or equivalent Customer Data Platform experience (e.g., Adobe AEP, Tealium AudienceStream, Segment, ActionIQ, Treasure Data).
- Relevant Salesforce experience in Sales & Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and related certifications (e.g., Data 360 Consultant, AI Specialist, Data Architect, Marketing Cloud Consultant).
- Data warehouse experience preferred (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, SQL Server, Marketing Databases like Adobe).
- Experience with data management, data transformation, ETL, preferably using cloud-based tools/infrastructure.
- Data Architect skills such as data profiling, data quality analysis, and experience with MDMs and fuzzy matching conventions.
- Strong aptitude for communicating complex business and technical concepts using visualization and modeling aids.
- Ability to conceptualize and create sophisticated diagrams and documents.
- Strong desire and aptitude to learn new technologies quickly and thoroughly.
- Expertise in gathering and analyzing information related to data integration, subscriber management, and identity resolution.
- Experience with AI-related data integration technologies and concepts (e.g., RAG, vector databases, search indexes, knowledge bases), particularly in grounding Agentforce solutions with enterprise data.
- Demonstrated ability to influence audiences, facilitate solutions, and lead discussions on implementation methodology, architectural roadmaps, and enterprise transformation strategy.
- Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Privacy concepts and regulations is a plus.
- BA/BS degree or foreign equivalent.
- Willingness to travel as needed (expected to be less than 50%).

Pay
The typical base salary range for this position is $172,500 - $260,100 annually. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations:
- California, New York, and select cities in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC: $207,800 - $285,800 per year.
The range represents base salary only and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity, or benefits, as applicable.
