Senior Technical Application Engineer - Nuclear Control Upgrades

Responsibilities
- Provides technical expertise and develops technical solutions (configuration, performance estimation, cost-effectiveness, etc.) within the Pre-ITO process (procurement), and acts as a liaison to the purchasing team.
- Has a thorough understanding of relevant markets and the economic value of customers, contributing to winning bid strategies.
- Includes ITO: Technical analysis of customer needs: product definition and optimization; scope (description); schedule; industrial control; costs considering contractual and internal guidelines and procedures. Calculation of system and equipment performance and efficiency. Documentation of technical specifications and calculation elements for further phases of contract development. Also includes the OTR part, where engineers work on adapting products to specific customer requirements.
- Develops knowledge in their discipline. Acts as a resource for proven methods and quality. Has knowledge of the latest technological developments in their field. Contributes to strategy and policy development and ensures implementation within the responsibility area. Has extensive knowledge of best practices and integration of their area into other areas. Has knowledge of competition and factors that distinguish the company on the market.
- Uses judgment to make decisions or moderately complex tasks or problems in areas such as operations/manufacturing, product management, production, technology, or construction. Views existing solutions from a new perspective. Uses technical experience and knowledge for data analysis to support recommendations. Requirements
This role requires extensive experience. The knowledge level is comparable to a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Desired qualities include excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong social skills and leadership qualities, demonstrated problem-solving abilities, demonstrated program/project leadership capabilities, documented program/project documentation, planning, marketing, and execution capabilities, documented project management capabilities. Additional information: This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Qualifications
This role requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Additional information: For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $124,500.00 and $207,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
