About the role
SAIC is seeking a Technical Analyst/Targeter to support a highly dynamic and growing program with one of our US Government customers. You will be part of a large multi-year contract that supports systems engineering and integration across a broad portfolio of projects.
Responsibilities
- Apply technical expertise, attention to detail, and curiosity to develop actionable intelligence for customers.
- Develop an understanding of the operational environment through deep technical analysis, task selectors, and data set exploitation.
- Perform open-source research to identify activities that align with pre-defined requirements.
- Provide intelligence support, including analysis and research for industry, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic, and targeted vulnerability.
- Prepare and present briefings on requirements, capabilities, and project status for senior executives, provide operational guidance, and engage with organizations from across the IC and Department of Defense.
- Work in a dynamic environment, leveraging experience to perform complex technical analysis and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from various organizations on an integrated, multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, including 7 years of demonstrated targeting experience and deep familiarity with analyst and targeter tradecraft.
- Experience with various SATCOM and weapons systems, programs, modeling & simulation.
- Experience with telemetry, tracking and control (TT&C).
- Experience with operational tradecraft, workflows, and policies and procedures.
- Ability to analyze, prioritize, and solve problems, synthesize large amounts of data/information, and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Excellent communication and briefing skills, including the ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Strong writing and technical editing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or commensurate experience can substitute for the degree.
- Must currently hold a TS/SCI with Poly to be considered.
- Target salary range: $200,001 - $240,000.
