DescriptionSenior Technical Accountant Responsibilities:Own key accounting and financial reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial information to internal and external stakeholders.Evaluate and apply accounting guidance to complex transactions, providing sound recommendations and clear communication to diverse audiences.Lead critical close activities, reconciliation processes, and financial analyses while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen controls.Partner with finance and business leaders to support forecasting, planning, and performance management activities.Enhance the organization's internal control framework through ongoing monitoring, process improvements, and risk mitigation efforts.Facilitate successful audit outcomes through effective coordination, preparation, and issue resolution.Influence business decisions by delivering meaningful financial insights and actionable recommendations.Promote consistency and compliance through stewardship of accounting policies, procedures, and stakeholder training.Provide analytical support for special projects, strategic initiatives, and evolving business priorities.ProfileSenior Technical Accountant Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance3-5 years of accounting experience, technical accounting & general ledgerAbility to oversee the P&L and support process improvementsExperience within public accounting highly preferredExperience within SAPJob OfferHybrid working model - 3 days onsite and 2 days work from homeFlexible start/end timeAbility to grow in your career3 weeks PTOHealth Insurance$120k-$140k base + 20% bonus target Desired Skills and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - 3-5 years of technical accounting experience - Public accounting experience preferred MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
