About the role

You will provide proactive coaching, performance management, and career development support to motivate team members and enhance overall job satisfaction.

You will lead and develop the San Francisco EA team, partnering closely with the West Coast EA Managers on development and implementation of strategic initiatives.

You will assess individual and team development needs, designing, and delivering targeted upskilling aligned with goals and priorities.

You will foster a high performance; collaborative environment aligned with firm values.

You will serve as an escalation point for sensitive people matters, resolving issues with discretion and sound judgment.

You will lead the end-to-end performance management and evaluation process for your team, delivering continuous feedback, driving development, and proactively addressing performance gaps in alignment with firm standards.

You will partner on recruiting and staffing, supporting candidate selection and staffing decisions to ensure a high-performing team and appropriate staffing levels.

You will coordinate backup and overflow coverage to ensure consistent service quality during absences, unanticipated departures, and high-volume periods.

You will also oversee administrative duties including timesheet review/approval, monitoring overtime, approving vacation, and tracking sick time in accordance with firm policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience in a professional environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in complex, fast-paced environments with senior stakeholders
  • Strong coaching, performance management, and people development skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and conflict resolution skills
  • Outstanding judgment, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential information
  • Exceptional administrative and organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent customer-service attitude and ability to build and cultivate strong client relationships
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication (oral and written), and conflict resolution skills; strong influencing capabilities
  • Flexibility to frequently work outside standard work hours
