Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a team of air import coordinators and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Cook up with clients, carriers, and customs officials to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
- Maintain accurate and complete records of all air import shipments
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws governing air import shipments
- Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders
- Provide regular reports on team performance and identify areas for improvement
- Participate in training and development programs to ensure that team members are up-to-date on industry developments and regulatory changes
Educational background / Work experience
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in air export operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong knowledge of air export regulations and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong leadership and team management skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in air export operations (e.g., IATA)
- Experience with air import operations in multiple regions (e.g., Asia, Europe, Americas)
- Familiarity with customs regulations and procedures in multiple countries
- Experience with implementing process improvements and driving efficiency gains
Language skills
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
Computer Literacy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with logistics software and systems (e.g., TMS, WMS)
