Your Future Team Hightower Bethesda Wealth Management is a fiduciary fee-only practice in Bethesda, Maryland. Responsibilities
- Serve as the practice’s primary internal tax resource for advisors and staff
- Analyze individual, business, trust, and related tax returns to identify planning opportunities (not tax preparation)
- Develop proactive tax strategies aligned with clients' overall financial plans and investment strategies
- Partner with advisors before and during client meetings to explain tax strategies in clear, practical language
- Cook up with clients, CPAs, attorneys, and other professionals to implement planning recommendations
- Research complex federal and state tax issues and communicate legislative changes to the advisory team
- Prepare quarterly and annual tax projections, estimated tax analyses, and payroll-related calculations when needed
- Create scalable tax planning processes, templates, and educational resources
- Create presentations and internal training to improve advisor tax knowledge
- Help build and continuously improve our tax planning capabilities
Requirements
- BA/BS in Accounting required
- CPA strongly preferred (EA considered)
- 5 years of tax experience, preferably reviewing individual and closely held business returns
- Experience with high-net-worth tax planning strongly preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build relationships with advisors, clients, and outside professionals
- Self-starter with excellent organizational and project management skills
Qualifications

- Annual base salary range of $80,000–$150,000 plus bonus opportunity, based on qualifications and experience
