Senior Tax Manager - Tax Compliance
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join our international public accounting practice in Houston, TX. This role focuses on tax compliance primarily for corporations in the Manufacturing & Distribution industry, serving predominantly US-Inbound International Businesses. You will work with a select team, enjoying significant autonomy while collaborating in a team environment.
The primary location for this position is Houston, TX (on-site if local). We also welcome candidates available for on-site work in our Birmingham, AL, or Denver, CO offices to assist the Houston team remotely.
Responsibilities
- Main focus on tax compliance
- Be part of our leadership team, training, and developing staff
- Manage client work and relationships
- Review federal and state corporate income tax returns, with some partnership and individual returns exposure
- Review current and deferred income tax provisions for corporate taxpayers under ASC 740
- Assist with tax consulting and research, including state and local, domestic, and international matters common to our clients
Requirements
- 10+ years of tax experience in public accounting, preferably with international tax compliance exposure
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accountancy or Taxation, or a similar program from an accredited college/university
- Minimum of 4-6 years of income tax return review experience
- CCH Axcess experience
- ProSystem fx Engagement experience

Pay
Base Pay Range in Denver Metropolitan Area: $130,000–$175,000/yr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
