Senior Tax Consultant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Tax Consultant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $65.00 to $79.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities Manage tax related projects and oversee the preparation, review, and delivery of complex tax filings and supporting documentation. Coordinate with external service providers to ensure tax work is completed accurately and within established timelines. Review tax returns, schedules, and workpapers to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and reporting requirements. Oversee information gathering processes, including the collection and tracking of tax related documentation from multiple sources. Support process improvement initiatives, including transitions involving tax providers, systems, or reporting workflows. Requirements Approximately 7+ years of progressive tax experience with demonstrated leadership or project ownership responsibilities. Strong knowledge of investment fund taxation, partnership taxation, and related tax reporting requirements. Previous experience managing external tax advisors, reviewing deliverables, and coordinating tax compliance activities. Ability to oversee multiple projects, deadlines, and reporting requirements with minimal supervision. Prior experience leading tax process transitions, implementations, or operational improvement initiatives. Qualifications Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy, quality control, and self review. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage timelines, documentation, and competing priorities. Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities with the capacity to resolve complex tax related issues. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
