About the role
The Senior Tax Associate will provide tax support to the Real Estate team, assisting with tax compliance, analysis, and reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations relevant to real estate.
Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and review of tax returns for real estate entities.
- Analyze financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities and ensure compliance with tax laws.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand business needs and translate them into actionable tax strategies.
- Prepare and present tax-related reports and analyses to management and clients.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting real estate.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in tax consulting or accounting, preferably in a real estate context.
- CPA certification is preferred but not required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
