About the role
The Senior Tax Associate will play a key role in providing tax compliance and advisory services for a portfolio of real estate investments. The position involves managing tax returns, preparing tax analyses, and assisting with tax planning initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for real estate entities.
- Conduct tax research and provide tax advice on complex issues related to real estate investments.
- Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies to optimize tax positions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.
- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations affecting real estate investments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in tax accounting or consulting.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
