This position supports the Real Estate Industry Group, specifically the Commercial Real Estate team. Responsibilities
- Work with a team to meet department deadlines throughout the year
- Assist with the process and review of 1065 tax returns
- Manage client relationships through effective communication, timely delivery, and leadership
- Handle ad hoc projects as needed
Requirements
- BS/BA in Accounting (preferred)
- MST and CPA (preferred)
- Minimum 3-5 years of tax experience in a public accounting firm
- Commercial Real Estate industry experience (preferred)
- Exceptional client service and communication skills
- Strong tax research and writing abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with tax compliance and research software (Go Systems, BNA portfolio, CCH, RIAS)
- Solid project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask
Pay
In Virginia, the salary range for this role is $80,000 to $120,000. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and location. Salary is part of a comprehensive total rewards package that includes a discretionary performance bonus and other benefits.
Schedule
This is a hybrid position. Team members are expected to be in the office an average of 3 days per week, with the cadence determined at the team level. The firm encourages intentional in-person collaboration.
