About the role
The role is responsible for providing leadership in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
- Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Provide guidance on complex accounting issues and regulatory changes
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with company objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
- CPA certification preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Experience in public accounting or consulting is a plus
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Strong attention to detail
