Senior Tax Associate
About the role
KPMG in the Cayman Islands is part of KPMG Islands Group, a regional network of over 3,000 professionals across 11 island jurisdictions. We provide Audit, Tax, and Advisory services to a broad range of clients, particularly in insurance, asset management, and international business. The successful candidate will be expected to reside and work in the Cayman Islands, a prominent global financial center offering an exceptional quality of life. Full relocation support and work permit sponsorship will be provided.
Requirements
- CPA, EA, (or the pre-requisite to take the respective exams) and/or Masters degree in Taxation
- At least 2 years of U.S. tax experience
- Understanding of U.S. federal income tax return preparation
- Experience with asset management (hedge funds or private equity)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work at one's own initiative and within a small team
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility to work extended hours during busy periods
