Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a team of tax associates, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Review and prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
  • Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
  • Communicate with clients to provide expert tax advice and answer any questions they may have
  • Assist with tax planning and strategy development to minimize tax liabilities for clients
  • Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments within the firm to ensure seamless service delivery to clients

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • CPA certification preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage and lead a team of tax associates
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and tax preparation software

Pay:

$70,000 - $100,000 per year
