Position Summary
We are seeking a bright, motivated individual to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, detail-orientated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task. Strong communication skills, dependability, flexibility and a willingness to learn and grow are important qualities to succeed in the role.
Essential Functions
- Prepare aspects of US tax provision, using OneSource Tax Provision software
- Prepare aspects of the 10-K and 10-Q Tax disclosures
- Cook with colleagues in Finance, Accounting and IT on GL implementation
- Aid with worldwide Tax Audits / respond to notices
- Prepare federal and state tax calculations for the US tax return
- Aid with SOX related documentation as required
- Aid in tax research and transfer pricing analysis
- Initiate tax software automation and process improvements
- Adhere to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
- Ensure Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
- Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance
- 2-3 years of income tax provision and compliance experience
- Big 4 experience preferred
- Well organized, detail oriented and team player capable of working in a deadline-oriented environment
- Strong functional knowledge of MS Excel
- Knowledge of Thomson Reuters software a plus
- Strong communication skills
- CPA or Masters in Tax a plus
Physical Demands
- Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Required to possess specific visons abilities, including: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focus
