Senior Tax Advisor | $82/hr Remote

Short-term contract role (9 weeks) at $82/hour, fully remote, up to 40 hours per week with 4 hours overlap with PST.

Responsibilities

• Create and evaluate high-difficulty US tax tasks and solutions.
• Review scenarios involving individual, partnership, corporate, and multistate taxation.
• Assess AI-generated tax outputs for technical accuracy and regulatory alignment.
• Review complex returns, tax positions, compliance risks, and tax research.
• Review and calibrate expert-level work against project quality standards.
• Provide clear, practical feedback and escalate complex cases when needed.

Requirements

• 8+ years of US tax experience in public accounting, corporate tax, or an in-house tax function.
• Strong experience across individual, partnership, corporate, and multistate taxation.
• Active CPA or Enrolled Agent credential required.
• Expertise in tax planning, compliance, research, and US tax regulations.
• Experience reviewing complex returns and evaluating tax positions and compliance risks.
• Strong written communication and professional judgment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
