Kassouf & Co. seeks a talented and critical-thinking individual to join our tax team. Responsibilities

• Prepare complex tax returns for businesses including, but not limited to, S-corporations, C-corporations, partnerships, and non-profits.
• Review the preparation of income tax returns prepared by Associates.
• Aid in the coordination of engagements including client contact, staff requirements, documentation, and timing.
• Work with more experienced team members to research and solve difficult tax issues to develop the best solutions for clients.
• Supervise activities of less experienced team members while working on special projects.
• Build strong client relationships to be viewed as a trusted advisor.
• Obtain skills to promote the firm, attract new clients, and expand business with existing clients.

Expected Qualifications

• Education and Credentials: BA or BS degree in Accounting or a related field, from an accredited college/university.
• Active CPA License.
• Experience: 2-5 years of public accounting experience.
• Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities: Strong organizational and time management skills; excellent written and verbal skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills; good judgment and professional skepticism; excellent analysis and observation skills; ability to work effectively with co-workers, staff, and clients; knowledge of accounting software packages and MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
