Senior Tax Accountant – Public Accounting | CPA Firm Tax & Advisory

About the role

Kirsch CPA Group is a 100% employee-owned CPA firm seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our growing tax and advisory team. Through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan / ESOP, eligible employees have the opportunity to share in the success they help create.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review business and individual tax returns
• Support tax compliance for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, and pass-through entities
• Aid in tax planning and client advisory projects
• Lead client engagements across a variety of industries
• Research tax issues and identify planning opportunities
• Mentor and guide staff accountants
• Collaborate with managers, directors, and firm leaders
• Contribute to firm growth as an employee-owner

Requirements

• 2–4 years of public accounting tax experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Experience preparing business tax returns
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
• Professional communication and client service skills
• CPA or EA license, or active progress toward certification

Preferred Experience

• Individual, partnership, S corporation, or C corporation tax returns
• Tax planning or client advisory experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• QuickBooks Online experience

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 per year
