Qualifications

• CPA or EA designation required, or actively pursuing one
• Progressive experience in the tax department of a CPA firm
• Strong background in preparing individual and business tax returns
• Experience reviewing returns prepared by others
• Skilled in tax research across multiple resources

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients and staff to drive proactive tax planning
• Prepare and review business, fiduciary, and individual tax returns
• Manage income tax correspondence and build strong, lasting client relationships
• Train and mentor staff to sharpen return preparation efficiency and grow their tax expertise
• Dig into complex technical tax issues to guide client decisions
• Gain exposure to foreign taxation, sales and use tax, and payroll tax
