Senior Talent Acquisition Partner
We are seeking a strategic Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to lead full life cycle recruitment for Suffolk’s Mission Critical business. This role serves as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and business leaders, offering market insight, recruitment expertise, and proactive talent strategies to drive successful hiring outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
About the role
As the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will lead complex, high-priority searches and build strong pipelines of qualified candidates to support Suffolk’s growth in the Mission Critical sector. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and provide guidance throughout the hiring process. This position requires in-office presence 4 days a week in Boston, Herndon, or Dallas.
Responsibilities
- Lead full life cycle recruitment for Mission Critical positions, from intake and sourcing through offer acceptance and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to develop position profiles, including role scope, qualifications, compensation, timing, and expectations.
- Serve as a consultative talent advisor, providing market insight, candidate availability, sourcing strategies, and recommendations throughout the recruitment process.
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to identify, attract, and engage highly qualified active and passive candidates.
- Source, prescreen, and assess candidates prior to hiring team interviews.
- Build and maintain strong pipelines of qualified talent for current and future Mission Critical opportunities.
- Develop and manage consultative relationships with hiring managers, business leaders, candidates, and internal Talent Acquisition partners.
- Present qualified candidates to hiring teams with insight on qualifications, experience, motivations, and alignment to the role.
- Coordinate recruitment logistics to ensure an efficient and positive experience for candidates and hiring teams.
- Represent Suffolk and the Mission Critical business to prospective candidates, communicating culture, opportunities, and growth.
- Conduct competitive talent research and provide insight into talent markets, competitor activity, candidate availability, and recruiting trends.
- Leverage market research and talent intelligence to inform recruiting strategies and proactively identify potential talent.
- Maintain accurate candidate and requisition records in the company Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS).
- Provide regular updates on active searches, including progress, challenges, market feedback, and recommended next steps.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and contribute to Talent Acquisition initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Partner with the People & Culture team to deliver a best-in-class candidate experience and seamless onboarding.
- Support additional Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives as needed, including knowledge sharing and best practice guidance.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of progressive full life cycle recruiting experience; construction, engineering, real estate, or related industry experience strongly preferred.
- Experience recruiting for complex, specialized, or high-priority positions; Mission Critical, data center, or related industry experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple searches and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong consultative recruiting skills with the ability to build credibility and influence hiring managers and business leaders.
- Proven ability to develop creative and proactive sourcing strategies, including engaging passive candidates.
- Strong understanding of recruiting practices, talent markets, and competitive intelligence.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a high sense of urgency to deliver against demanding timelines.
- Sound judgment with the ability to make decisions independently and escalate when appropriate.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity, navigate a fast-paced environment, and prioritize effectively.
- Experience with iCIMS or another Applicant Tracking System is a plus.
- Ability to analyze information, identify trends, and use research and market data to inform recruiting strategies.
- Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
Working Conditions
This role requires regular sitting for long periods, talking, hearing, and fine motor skills for keyboard, telephone, or writing use. Frequent standing, walking, and reaching with arms and hands are also required. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The role operates in an office environment with quiet to moderate noise levels and may involve job site walking.
