Senior Systems Software Engineer, Compute Stack Acceleration

Lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. Work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Telecommunications & Hardware environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead adoption projects for toolchain, build, code-health, and performance workflows
• Evaluate and deploy GCC and LLVM/Clang toolchains and related configurations
• Integrate modern toolchains into complex CI environments
• Establish Clang diagnostic builds and assess various optimization techniques
• Use profiling and analysis tools to identify performance and code-quality issues
• Create automation and validation tools to enhance adoption and reproducibility
• Document validated methods as reusable playbooks for engineering teams

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of relevant systems software engineering experience
• Strong C and C++ development and debugging skills
• Solid understanding of Linux systems and complex software stacks
• Practical experience with GCC or LLVM/Clang toolchains
• Experience in large, multi-component codebases and continuous integration environments
• Strong communication skills with a record of effective collaboration

Pay

$184,000 – $356,500 annually
