Senior Systems Engineer - Naval Radars

About the Role
We're expanding our engineering organization to meet customer demand and are seeking a Systems Engineer to support important Naval Radar programs. This role involves solving complex problems in hardware, software, and networking through troubleshooting, testing, and collaboration across disciplines. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in simulated and real-world environments.
- Troubleshoot and analyze hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
- Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating functionality and impact.
- Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
- Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements, and communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
- Travel as needed (up to 10%) to support mission execution at RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship (required for security clearance).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (active and transferable clearance preferred; interim clearance required prior to start date).
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five (5) years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in systems hardware, systems integration, or systems test.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an integration lab, test facility, or field support for integration or verification.
- Experience with RADAR or Radio Frequency (RF) systems.
- Experience with military systems.
- Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools.
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or other programming languages.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $86,800 – $165,200 USD. The range is representative of all experience levels and considers factors such as role, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Schedule
This is an onsite role at our RTX facility in Tewksbury, MA or Woburn, MA. Travel up to 10% may be required to support mission execution.
