About the Role

Join our team working on the world’s most advanced electronics, from missile seeker innovations to autonomous smart munitions. This role supports the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Missile Seeker program, focusing on production program activities, interfacing with production staff, understanding system requirements, creating and reviewing reports, and streamlining processes. Growth opportunities include supporting failure analysis efforts, running tests for troubleshooting, and driving root cause on failures. Our engineers collaborate in cross-functional, multi-disciplined teams to develop cost-effective systems that meet customer needs. Responsibilities include creative design work, mentoring, developing white papers, presenting internally and externally, and leading test events.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with production staff to support program activities.
  • Analyze, decompose, derive, and allocate system requirements.
  • Create and review reports to streamline processes.
  • Support failure analysis efforts, including running tests for troubleshooting and driving root cause on failures.
  • Participate in system modeling, simulation, design, development, integration, and test.
  • Develop white papers and deliver technical presentations internally and externally.
  • Lead test events and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to trade studies and peer reviews.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance is required.
  • ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science with at least 4 years of experience.
  • Experience communicating effectively with peers, senior leadership, and functional disciplines such as Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Project Management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle, including requirements analysis, system modeling, design, integration, and test.

Preferred Qualifications

  • M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience creating and reviewing systems requirements for software/hardware, components, subsystems, and operational concepts.
  • Experience creating system test plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Understanding of product design, development, integration, and verification.
  • Experience preparing and delivering technical presentations to customers.
  • Experience managing and participating in trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meetings.
  • Experience supporting test equipment requirements, design, and validation activities.
  • Proficiency with Matlab and Oracle.
  • Extensive experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Experience with missile systems, guided projectiles, or IR-related work.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with hardware and software integration.
  • Experience with product sell-off and requirements verification, including environmental, electromagnetic, and functional qualification testing and analysis.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $97,008 - $164,914. Individual salaries are determined by factors such as business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications, including skills, education, and experience.
