Senior Systems Engineer (GC-3)
About the role

Responsibilities
- Analyzes user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
- Ledesigns and develops activities.
- Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
- Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology while incorporating new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
- Develops technical documentation, including system architecture and system design documentation.
- Guides system development and implementation planning through the assessment and preparation of system engineering management plans, system integration plans, and test plans.
- Interacts with the customer regarding systems engineering technical considerations and resolves associated problems, issues, and conflicts.
- Communicates effectively with program personnel, stakeholders, and senior executives.
Requirements
- Strong systems engineering background and experience.
- Experience with AWS/cloud environments, dashboard fundamentals, metrics, DoDAF diagrams, requirements development, and technical documentation.
- Basic scripting experience is desired but not required.
- IAT Level II Certification required by the start date.
- At least twenty (20) years of relevant experience.
- A bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required. Five (5) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree, for a total of twenty-five (25) years of experience.
