Senior Systems Engineer / DevOps Engineer - Hybrid

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer / DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure to support a large-scale enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building, automating, and maintaining containerized platforms and cloud-native infrastructure while working across both Linux and Windows Server environments. This role requires a hands-on engineer who is comfortable operating in complex, fast-paced enterprise environments and collaborating with infrastructure, application, and cloud engineering teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Cloud & Container Platforms
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration and operations
  • Experience with Rancher for Kubernetes cluster management preferred
  • Extensive experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure
  • Knowledge of container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes ecosystem components
• Infrastructure as Code & Automation
  • Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
  • Experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation
  • Developing and maintaining automated deployment and operational workflows
  • Scripting experience using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar tools
• Operating Systems
  • Strong background supporting and troubleshooting Linux environments
  • Experience administering Windows Server environments
  • Understanding of operating system security, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
• DevOps & Platform Engineering
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
  • Monitoring, logging, and observability experience
  • Infrastructure support in highly available, enterprise-scale environments
  • Knowledge of networking, DNS, load balancing, and security best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large enterprise or media/entertainment environments
• AWS certifications and/or Kubernetes certifications
• Experience with cloud-native architecture and microservices
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and DevOps best practices

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support Kubernetes-based infrastructure and platforms
• Manage and optimize AWS cloud resources and services
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible
• Support and administer Linux and Windows Server environments
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure system reliability
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve scalability, security, and operational efficiency
• Contribute to infrastructure modernization and cloud transformation initiatives
• Develop and maintain operational documentation and best practices
