Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics field.
- 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
- Agile experience preferred.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance at time of hire; U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
Join a cross-functional team developing, specifying, and testing mission-critical Department of War cybersecurity devices.
- Design security architectures and protocols, develop cryptographic key-management strategies, and perform hands-on testing in the Interoperability Test Bed (ITB) for secure voice, data, and conferencing solutions.
- Develop security architectures, cryptographic specifications, and secure communication protocols.
- Define and support cryptographic key-management strategies.
- Create test plans and execute black-box testing for cybersecurity devices.
- Lead integration, interoperability, verification, and validation activities in the ITB.
- Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, and test engineering teams to deliver secure mission solutions.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI to improve engineering processes and technical outcomes.
Skills
- Experience with cryptographic algorithms and secure communication systems.
- Experience writing technical specifications and test plans.
- Experience performing black-box testing of complex systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across a multidisciplinary team.
- Creative, practical problem-solving across the systems development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity devices supporting secure voice, data, and conferencing applications.
- Awareness of evolving technology trends and a drive to improve processes.

Pay
Target salary range: USD $164,892.00/Yr. – USD $173,910.00/Yr.
Work is fully on-site in Dedham, Massachusetts, as part of the Dedham Cyber Engineering team.
