Senior Systems Engineer

Expertise And Functions

Perform technical analysis related to systems design and development
Conduct tasks associated with systems engineering life cycle and the DoD design review process
Utilize model-based systems engineering (MBSE) techniques
Support systems analysis (e.g., discrete event simulation) with simulation techniques
Exercise judgment to make recommendations on technical alternatives, component design or selection, and/or adaptation to meet assigned requirements
Proficient in technical writing including white papers, customer deliverable documents, etc
Collaborate with leadership at all levels
Lead technical reviews and meetings, internal and external

Requirements

• Education/Training: Bachelor's Degree from an ABET accredited institution in relevant engineering or science discipline required
  Master's Degree preferred
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area
  Familiarity with a range of systems engineering tools - Cameo experience preferred
  Background in developing and/or testing aircraft and/or military components preferred
  Experience with systems integration, structural analysis and/or Python preferred

Physical Requirements

• Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
  Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
  Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
  Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Schedule

The projected salary range for this position is $8,000 - $105,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation, rather actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications or degrees held.
