Senior Systems Engineer

About the Role

The Senior Systems Engineer will develop, implement, and support systems-related services and solutions for consulting clients. This position will build a customer-focused relationship with clients to identify business challenges and develop specifications and requirements to arrive at the best solution.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of the HBS Systems team, providing consultative and proactive project support to HBS’s account base.
• Collaborate and lead across multiple internal teams to ensure successful delivery and timely execution of the scope of work.
• Research new products, enhance configuration standards and best practices, and educate team members to improve the sales process.
• Provide senior-level support, maintenance, and administration for customer networks, identifying potential concerns or enhancement opportunities.
• Foster a positive team atmosphere between regional and virtual practices while maintaining professionalism and respect.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of past projects to estimate time and scope for new related projects.
• Obtain and maintain current vendor/industry-specific certifications and stay updated on new products and solutions.
• Meet annual billable hour goals, as defined by HBS.

Requirements

• 3+ years in a technical related field.
• Experience designing and architecting Microsoft Azure solutions, including Azure AD, Intune, Azure Backup, and Azure Site Recovery.
• Bachelor’s Degree, equivalent certifications, or relevant work experience.
• At least one of the following certifications: CCNP, MCA, CCA-V, VCP.
• Experience designing and architecting systems-based solutions.
• Proficiency in installing and supporting Microsoft enterprise products.
• Outcome-focused mindset with strong prioritization skills.
• Team player with a professional and respectful demeanor.
