About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge for precision assemblies and testing of hardware, develop detailed test plans and procedures, and coordinate and conduct system integration testing.
Responsibilities
- Execute multiple aspects of the systems engineering discipline, to include requirements decomposition into software/hardware functions, system performance analysis and trade studies, oversight of software/hardware development and system integration and test activities to ensure system requirements closure.
- Interact with the development teams, production teams, program leadership, and customer regarding technical considerations, risks, and issue closure associated with our programs capabilities.
- Support test events at multiple test event sites.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, architectures, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Coordinate and conduct system integration testing to ensure compatibility and performance.
- Document findings, generate test reports, and present results to stakeholders.
- Present engineering material in life cycle design reviews.
- Play an active role in troubleshooting system level failures amongst a diverse team of engineers and technicians.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components into a cohesive system.
- Conduct Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and design.
Requirements
- Eligible to obtain and hold a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
- 9+ years of experience with BS/BA, 7+ years with MS/MA, 4+ years with PhD.
Qualifications
- Jama for Requirements and Test Management.
- Ability to write scripts for test automation and data analysis.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools like Agile, Scrum.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, such as MIL-STD, MIL-HDBK, ISO, ASME.

Pay
The annual salary range for this role is $130,000 to $165,000.

This position is classified as a full-time, exempt, non-supervisory position and is based in our Tucson, AZ office.
